Anna Kournikova Biography.

Anna Kournikova was born June 7, 1981 in Moscow to her parents Sergei and Alla. She was introduced to the tennis game at age 5. At the age of 10, she moved to Florida with her mother. She continued improving her tennis game, and in 1995 ranked No. 1, she ended the year as the ITF Junior world Champion. In 1996, Anna turned professional. Her biggest success to date was making it to the Semi-Finals at Wimbledon, after which she achieved her highest yet ranking of 25.
